This Hendi bartender set brings together the core tools for measuring, shaking, straining, muddling and stirring cocktails. The Boston shaker, two-size measure, Hawthorne strainer, muddler and spiral bar spoon support successive preparation tasks at one cocktail station.
Where it is used
At a cocktail bar, measure spirit and mixer portions with the 25 ml and 50 ml measure, then shake ingredients with ice in the Tin-on-Tin cups and strain into serving glasses. The sequence keeps dosing, mixing and transfer within reach during drink preparation. For cocktails built with fresh fruit or herbs, the ridged muddler presses ingredients to release them into the drink base.
The spoon extends the set’s use beyond shaken drinks: its spiral form supports controlled stirring, while its disc end presses ingredients. Use it to mix frozen drinks without dilution, pour carbonated mixers with less foaming, or build cocktail layers with care.
Care
The set combines stainless steel with PA (polyamide/nylon), so the material description applies to the set rather than every individual tool. Stainless steel resists corrosion in the damp conditions of a working bar and is easy to keep clean after contact with ice, fruit and liquids. All set components are dishwasher-safe, allowing the tools to go through a dishwasher cycle after cocktail service.
The Hawthorne strainer’s removable spring can be taken off for easier cleaning. It can also be used separately as a spring whisk, giving the bartender another way to handle mixing tasks without relying on the strainer body.
How to choose
The two balanced shaker cups form a Tin-on-Tin pair, with capacities of 500 ml and 800 ml. This gives the bartender a paired vessel set for shaking cocktails with ice before straining, rather than requiring a separate mixing vessel for that step. The measure’s two sizes cover different ingredient portions with one tool.
The spiral spoon has a 5 ml capacity for small measured additions, and its 27 cm overall length provides reach when stirring in a tall serving glass. The set is stored in a cardboard tube; its 320 mm height and 120 mm diameter help assess whether the packaged tools can be kept together in the available bar storage space.
