Hendi Bar accessories
Hendi Bar accessories. Hendi catalogue from SIA La RONDE
For UK bars, restaurants and hotels, dependable cocktail preparation relies on tools that make measuring, mixing and straining clear parts of the service routine. SIA La RONDE’s bar accessories include two bartender sets presented in cardboard tubes: one in a standard finish and one in a copper colour. Each brings together shaker cups, a measure, strainer, muddler and bar spoon for preparing mixed drinks at the counter. The range suits teams setting up a cocktail station, refreshing their bar tools or assembling the basic equipment used across a drinks menu.
Equipment and tasks
The Boston Tin-on-Tin shaker uses two balanced cups, with capacities of 500 ml and 800 ml. Bartenders can combine ingredients with ice in the shaker and then pour the chilled mix through the Hawthorne strainer. The classic jigger has 50 ml and 25 ml measures, giving staff a practical way to portion spirits and other liquid ingredients consistently from drink to drink. Together, the shaker and measure cover two central jobs at a cocktail station: building a recipe in controlled quantities and mixing it with ice.
For drinks that call for fresh fruit or herbs, the ridged muddler presses ingredients to release their flavour in the glass or mixing vessel. After shaking, the Hawthorne strainer helps retain ice and solids as the drink is poured. Its ergonomic handle supports handling at the bar, and its removable spring can be taken off for easier cleaning. The spring can also be used as a whisk, adding another task for the same component when preparing a drink.
Parameters in use
The spiral bar spoon is 27 cm long and has a 5 ml capacity, with a disc-shaped muddler at its end. Its length helps a bartender stir through a mixing vessel, while the measured capacity is useful for small additions. The spoon is intended for quickly mixing frozen drinks without diluting them, pouring carbonated drinks without foaming and creating precise cocktail layers. These functions make it useful for drinks where texture, carbonation or the visual separation of layers matters during preparation.
Both sets use PA, or polyamide and nylon, alongside stainless steel. Stainless steel is valued for its resistance to corrosion in ordinary kitchen use, while the PA component provides a different material for the set’s tools. Every component in the set is dishwasher-safe, so the team can clean the equipment in a dishwasher after service rather than washing each item by hand. The copper-coloured version offers a warm metallic appearance for bars that want tools with a coordinated look; the other set provides an alternative finish.
Choosing a product
Choose between the two sets by the finish that suits the bar’s presentation: product 64375 has no copper colour attribute, while product 64394 is copper-coloured. Their working tool contents are otherwise the same, including the two shaker cups, two-sided measure, strainer, muddler and bar spoon. Both are supplied in a cardboard tube measuring 320 mm high and 120 mm in diameter. Those dimensions help staff judge the tube’s footprint when planning where to keep the set between services or when putting it away after use.
For a bar developing a cocktail workflow, the combined tools support a sequence from measuring and muddling to shaking, straining and finishing. The shaker and jigger help structure recipe preparation; the muddler handles fresh ingredients; and the strainer and spoon cover pouring, stirring and layering tasks. The removable spring and dishwasher-safe components also matter when cleaning is part of the shift routine. Compare the two finishes, then select the set whose appearance and compact tube format suit the bar’s equipment organisation.
