Coffee percolator Hendi 211441
Technical data 01 / 02
This Hendi coffee percolator has a 14-litre capacity and a filter basket for coarsely ground coffee. The basket holds the coffee during percolation, while the generous vessel capacity provides a prepared supply for a service period instead of requiring repeated small batches.
Where it is used
In a café or hotel breakfast area, the percolator can supply coffee across a service period. Its tap dispenses directly into cups and limits drips, helping keep the serving counter cleaner. The glass water-level indicator makes the remaining supply visible without opening the vessel, so staff can check it as they work at the beverage station.
The polypropylene handles are lightweight, making the appliance easier to reposition when the station is reorganised. The warning light draws attention to overheating or a need for descaling; after overheating, the reset button gives staff a direct control for resetting the appliance.
Connection and installation
The 220–240 V supply requirement helps staff match the percolator to the electrical supply available at the service point. Its 1.75 kW rated power is a useful figure when planning the electrical provision for the station.
The thermostat indicators give staff a visible check of thermostat operation while they attend the beverage station. This keeps the appliance’s operating status in view during service.
Care
The single-wall stainless-steel body is corrosion resistant and has a surface that is easy to keep clean. These properties suit the damp conditions around a beverage station, where coffee marks need regular attention. The magnetic drip tray can be removed for separate cleaning, allowing staff to clear collected drips without cleaning the tray in place.
How to choose
Compare the overall dimensions with the available counter space to check that the percolator’s footprint and height suit the intended station. At 3.55 kg, it is also practical to move when staff need to rearrange the counter or clean around the appliance.
The tap clearance limits the height of cups or small serving vessels used beneath it, so choose vessels that fit. Adjustable temperature gives staff a choice of setting for the intended hot-drink service rather than locking the percolator to one fixed temperature.
