Cut-resistant glove Hendi 556672
Technical data 01 / 02
This cut-resistant glove combines a stainless-steel chainmail outer glove with a polyester inner glove. Its F-category cut resistance helps reduce exposure to cuts during hand trimming, while food-contact approval suits direct use at a meat-preparation station.
Where it is used
Use the glove for meat preparation involving hand-held cutting tools, such as trimming cuts at a butcher’s bench. The cut-resistant construction helps reduce cut exposure during close manual work; it is protective equipment, not a cut-proof barrier.
Food-contact approval allows the glove to remain in use while handling meat, rather than restricting it to tasks where it cannot touch food. As it can be worn on either hand, the operator can choose the hand to protect for the task.
Care
The outer glove is made from 18/8 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant material suited to contact with moisture in a food-preparation environment. Its metal construction differs from the polyester inner glove, so the two parts can be handled as separate components when caring for the set.
The polyester inner glove sits between the hand and the chainmail outer glove. Keeping both parts in view during routine care helps operators attend to the complete protective set, rather than only its metal exterior.
How to choose
The 330 mm overall length helps compare the glove’s reach with the wrist and forearm area that needs coverage during cutting. The 0.160 kg weight keeps the glove’s mass low for repeated hand work, where a heavier protective glove would add more load.
The set contains one polyester inner glove and one chainmail outer glove, intended to be used together. Its reversible fit allows the same glove to be worn on the right or left hand, giving the operator a choice of side for the work being carried out.
