Electric fryer Hendi 205808
Technical data 01 / 02
This Hendi Kitchen Line electric fryer combines a compact 4-litre oil capacity with a cold zone beneath the heating elements. The cold zone keeps crumbs and sediment away from the hottest area, reducing burnt residue during repeated frying and helping the oil stay cleaner between batches.
Where it is used
The 4-litre capacity suits a café or bar preparing fried items in modest batches rather than running a continuous high-volume service. A removable basket can be lifted out to drain food and handled separately from the oil vessel. Its long insulated handle gives staff a cooler grip when lowering or lifting a batch.
The operating-status indicator gives staff a visible check before food goes into the oil. Removing the control panel switches the fryer off, and the separate overheat protection has a reset function after it trips. The supplied lid and basket support the basic frying workflow, with the lid available to cover the vessel between tasks.
Connection and installation
The 230 V supply and 3 kW rated power help the kitchen team assess the fryer against the electrical supply available at the intended station. The thermostat protects the unit from overheating by interrupting heating if excessive heat occurs.
Care
The stainless-steel body is corrosion resistant and easy to keep clean in a damp kitchen, suiting routine wipe-downs around a frying station. The stainless-steel oil vessel is also suited to repeated contact with oil and cleaning moisture.
Taking out the removable basket makes it easier to clear food residue separately from the vessel. By keeping crumbs below the heating elements, the cold zone also reduces burnt deposits that need attention during cleaning.
How to choose
The 4-litre capacity is smaller than that of most products in this category, so it is better suited to modest batch work than a high-volume frying line. Its rated power is also lower than that of most products in this category; compare the electrical load with the other equipment planned for the station.
The overall dimensions define the space the fryer occupies on a worktop, while its low weight makes occasional repositioning more manageable than with heavier equipment. Gradual temperature adjustment up to 190°C lets the operator select oil heat to suit the food being fried.
