Electric soup kettle Hendi 860526
Technical data 01 / 02
This Hendi electric soup kettle is designed to hold prepared soup warm for service. Its removable stainless-steel vessel and two-part lid support a practical routine at a staffed counter or buffet: staff can access the soup while leaving the remainder covered.
Where it is used
The 8-litre capacity suits a modest soup choice at a café counter or hotel breakfast buffet, where staff can replenish the batch as service progresses. A ladle notch allows the utensil to remain in place between portions, while the built-in card holder makes the soup’s name visible at the serving point.
The two-part lid gives access to one section while the other stays closed, helping retain heat during repeated service. Its tempered-glass construction and insulated handle provide a clear surface and a defined grip when staff open the kettle.
Connection and installation
The 230 V supply helps place the kettle within a kitchen’s standard single-phase supply arrangement. Its rated power identifies the electrical load to account for at the soup station. The last temperature setting is retained when power is switched off, reducing repeat adjustment when the kettle is used again for a familiar service routine.
The heating element sits in the water tank, transferring heat through the water rather than directly into the soup. A marked maximum-fill line gives staff a visible reference when preparing the tank for operation.
Care
The removable AISI 304 stainless-steel vessel resists corrosion in normal kitchen use and can be taken out for separate cleaning after service. Its removable construction also gives staff direct access to the inside of the vessel when clearing soup residue.
The tempered-glass lid has a smooth surface that can be wiped clean as part of routine care. Its hinged construction keeps the lid attached as staff open and close it during service.
How to choose
The kettle’s overall diameter and height define its counter footprint, helping staff assess how it will sit alongside other equipment on a serving line. The polypropylene housing is made to withstand the heat associated with operation, while the stainless-steel vessel provides the soup-holding surface.
The digital panel displays the selected and current temperatures, so staff can check the holding setting at the station. Fine temperature adjustments help tune that setting to the prepared soup. This kettle is for holding soup warm, not for cooking it; prepare the soup separately before service.
