Funnel Hendi 518700

This stainless-steel funnel with a handle is designed to guide liquids into narrow-necked bottles. Its broad opening gathers the pour, while the tapered body directs it towards the bottle opening, helping keep liquid off the bar surface during transfers.

Where it is used

Use the funnel at a bar or kitchen station when decanting liquids into bottles with narrow necks. The handle gives the operator a distinct grip while positioning the funnel, leaving the other hand free to control the pouring vessel. This is useful when transferring liquid from a larger container into a bottle for service or preparation.

After liquid transfers, the funnel can be washed in a dishwasher. That makes it practical for stations where utensils move through machine wash-up between tasks, rather than being set aside for a separate hand-washing step.

Care

Stainless steel resists corrosion in damp working conditions, making it suitable for repeated use around liquids and in a wash-up area. Its smooth surface is easy to keep clean during routine kitchen and bar cleaning.

Dishwasher suitability lets the funnel join the normal machine-washing cycle after use. This supports a straightforward return from liquid handling to clean utensil storage without adding a separate hand-washing task.

How to choose

The opening and overall height help determine whether the funnel is appropriate for the bottles and pouring vessels used at the station. Its broad mouth helps receive a controlled stream, while the funnel body channels liquid towards the narrower bottle opening. Consider the available storage space for the complete utensil when organising a bar station.

Its low mass makes the funnel easy to lift and reposition between pouring and wash-up tasks. The stainless-steel construction suits a working area where liquid contact and regular cleaning are part of normal use.
