Glass cover Hendi 268599

This tempered-glass cover is made for hot-dog grill 268537. It gives the roller-heated sausages a protective barrier while keeping the display visible, so customers can see the product without staff lifting the cover.

Where it is used

Fit it over the sausage-heating area of the matching grill. The cover helps protect the food from contamination during service while preserving the view of the display. This is useful at a customer-facing hot-dog counter, where guests can see the available sausages and staff can keep the barrier in place.

Tempered glass is strengthened through heat treatment, making it a robust choice for a cover handled around a working grill. Four fastenings secure it to the heater; removing it gives staff access to the sausage area when the station needs attention.

Care

The cover is designed to be easy to clean, and its removable construction gives staff access to its surfaces as well as the area beneath it. This helps include the heater zone in routine counter cleaning rather than leaving the covered area awkward to reach.

Taking the cover off also allows staff to clean around the heater. Once the area is attended to, refitting the cover restores the barrier over the sausage display and keeps the food visible to customers.

How to choose

Choose this cover for grill 268537: the model-specific match identifies the equipment it is intended to fit. Its 5.5kg weight is relevant when staff lift it for cleaning or reposition it at the grill, so the handling task can be considered as part of the station routine.

The combination of a visible display and a protective cover suits a hot-dog station where sausages remain on the roller heater for customer selection. The transparent glass keeps them on view while the barrier is in place; the removable fastening arrangement allows staff to access the heater area when needed.
