Grill apron Hendi 556696
Technical data 01 / 02
This Hendi grill apron pairs a broad canvas panel with a fire-resistant coating for work close to the grill. The coating helps shield clothing from hot ash and splashed grease, while the woven canvas offers a robust layer for regular use around a busy cooking station.
Where it is used
At a restaurant grill station or rooftop terrace, the apron covers work clothing while the cook tends the grill. Its fire-resistant coating provides added resistance to heat-related exposure, helping shield clothing from hot ash and splashed grease during cooking. This clothing layer is useful where cooks work close to the grill and need their uniform covered as they handle food and utensils.
The robust woven canvas is suited to repeated rubbing against utensils and the working area. Its resistance to ordinary abrasion helps the apron withstand contact during routine grill work. For a cook moving around a busy station, this durable fabric is a practical choice for regular wear rather than occasional use.
Care
Washing removes soil accumulated during grill work, making it possible to clean the apron after use. This is useful after cooking when splashes and residue have collected on the fabric and it needs cleaning before being worn again.
The canvas’s resistance to ordinary abrasion helps it cope with repeated wear and contact during routine use. Its light weight also makes it easier to carry between work areas, including when taking it away from the grill for washing. These properties support practical handling before and after cleaning without adding unnecessary burden.
How to choose
The broad apron panel provides coverage across work clothing when tending a large grill. Compare its overall dimensions with the area of clothing you want covered at the station; the wide panel suits cooks seeking coverage across a substantial part of their uniform.
At 220 g, the apron adds little carried weight, which helps when wearing it through a shift or moving between work areas. The combination of a broad panel and light garment gives grill staff useful clothing coverage without a heavy layer to carry, whether they remain at one station or move between tasks.
