This Hendi insulated food box is made from lightweight, resilient EPP and has a 128-litre capacity for transporting substantial food loads. Its insulating walls help hot or chilled contents retain their temperature between preparation and service.

Where it is used

For catering runs or hotel service, the large capacity supports moving a substantial batch in one box. A separately closing front lid gives staff access to the load from the front and closes for transport. The stackable design helps consolidate boxes in storage or during a run.

Internal rails support 600 × 400 mm trays at 50 mm intervals, helping staff organise food on separate levels. GN trays are not included, so teams can plan the load around their own containers. Rounded internal corners reduce sharp edges around the loading area and make the interior easier to wipe clean.

Care

EPP combines low weight with resilience under routine handling, making the box easier to move while loaded. Its insulating properties help protect hot or chilled food during transit, useful when moving prepared items between kitchen and service areas.

The box can be washed in a dishwasher at up to 80 °C, providing a machine-wash option after transport work. Rounded corners also make it easier to wipe the interior clean, including along the edges.
