Knife set Hendi 975770
Technical data 01 / 02
This nine-piece Hendi knife set brings together tools for vegetable preparation, butchery, bread and ham slicing, and carving. The selection gives a professional kitchen a coordinated set for distinct preparation tasks rather than one knife doing every job.
Where it is used
At a preparation bench, use the peeling knife for vegetables and the boning knife to separate meat from bone. Chef’s knives and the Santoku cover ingredient cutting, while dedicated bread and ham knives support slicing for service. The meat fork steadies meat during carving and portioning.
The set also includes a honing steel for blade honing during preparation. Its black case keeps the tools together for storage or movement between work areas, so the selection can be kept as one group alongside the station where it is used.
Care
The blades use 3Cr13 steel, and the handles are made from 410 stainless steel with a rubberised covering. Stainless steel resists corrosion in damp kitchen conditions and is straightforward to keep clean. The rubberised surface adds grip when handling the knives during preparation.
The blades are described as retaining their sharpness for a long time, helping reduce interruptions for sharpening during routine work. The included honing steel lets the cook realign edges during preparation and keep this maintenance tool with the knives.
How to choose
The two chef’s knives provide a choice of blade length for general cutting and portioning. The Santoku is suited to slicing and chopping, while separate knives address peeling, boning, bread and ham. This range is useful where a station moves between varied ingredients and service tasks.
The case has a fixed footprint of 445 × 260 × 65 mm, which helps allocate storage close to the preparation area. It keeps the set grouped within that space, with the meat fork and honing steel included for carving and edge maintenance.
