This Hendi PIOCELAN thermal box is built for transporting prepared food, including in a GN 1/1 container up to 200 mm high. Its Piocelan LSP EB construction provides insulation and resistance to deformation, supporting repeat use as food moves between preparation and service.

Where it is used

In a catering kitchen, staff can load prepared dishes in their GN container rather than transfer them into separate transport packaging. Keeping food in its working container makes loading and handover more direct. The clear internal space also gives staff room to arrange food containers before moving the box, helping them prepare an orderly load.

At a restaurant pass or hotel service area, the carrying handles provide a grip for lifting during loading, unloading and transfer. The 40-litre capacity allows prepared food to be grouped in one box for a move between work areas. Its insulation helps limit exposure of the contents to the surrounding environment during that transfer.
